Il semble que ça soit assez bon en compression mais plus faible en dos, donc design plutôt large ou renfort.Lu ça sur paleoplanet sur deux sujets différents.Prunus padus is great bowwood, havnt made more than 50# from it though. It takes compression well, but needs a sound back.Prunus padus is bird cherry, a very different wood, although excellent for flatbows, too.
