Par contre il faut que je choisisse les essences de bois...et la, j'ai besoin de votre aide. (les carac du fireball sur le site : The Fireball takes the modern "straight end" bow to a new level of speed, stability and smoothness. Somewhat of a cross between the Ghost Recurve and the Bushbow. The highly reflex limbs measure 1 1/2" wide at the fadeout, tapering to 9/16" at the string nock. The riser is 19" long with a fair amount of deflex. The handle area measures 5" in circumference midsection of the bulbous handle. The arrow shelf is cut to center for maximum feather clearance. With its highly reflex/deflex design, long riser, and short working limbs, the Fireball combines all the speed of a recurve with the stability of a longbow. Certainement rapide.Mais tant qu'à faire je préfère un profil légèremment plus reflexe comme ceux de Chaparal archery (orthographe non garantie), question de goût ( je n'aime pas le profil triangulaire de l'arc bandé) mais je pousse le bouchon de l'esthétique trop loin... b.bowyer Posted July 18, 2006 Share Posted July 18, 2006 Cela dit, la production de Great Northern me plait beaucoup: poignée sobres (surtout les droites) formes épurées. Mon Préféré: le ghost comme sur la photo de leur site, poignée droite en cocobolo avec branches en osage. En passant, je me demande si l'osage vire de couleur sous la lame de fibre. pierre Posted July 18, 2006 Share Posted July 18, 2006 Il me semble qu'il change beaucoup moins de couleur sous la fibre donc plus compliqué d'avoir cette belle couleur sombre, tu risques plutot de te retrouver avec un beau jaune fluo...
